Seaside Playgarden (SSPG) is a beautiful, nature-filled school with a curriculum inspired by Waldorf Education. It is a perfect place for minds of wonder to explore, grow, and create.

Our teaching methodology addresses every part of the child - head, heart, and hands. Our early childhood programs nurture imagination and respond naturally to the child's developmental needs. Future conceptual and academic learning is nurtured through a rhythmic program rich in puppetry, song, poetry, movement, bread-baking, gardening, and artistic activities. Every daily activitiy contributes to the children's appreciation and respect for nature, their environment and one another.

Our teachers take great care that both the environment and activities are worthy of a child's unquestioning imitation. Simple toys of natural materials are provided to support children's creative play: the true "work" of childhood. We currently offer 2, 3, and 5-day programs for children ages 2½ to 6.
